Pump Up The Jam

about

It is the first ever cover song by the Estonian funk band that has been releasing original music for 7 years. Lead singer and co-producer Robert Linna opened up about the idea: “The thought of doing a cover got stuck in my head and I’ve long considered “funkifying” old disco hits. “Pump Up The Jam” was the first choice as it’s trance-like energetic pumping gets you going straight away, and we’ve incorporated the rap part at our live shows already. The original track by Technotronic became a global hit as it reached the 2nd spot in charts in the UK and US at the end of 1989 and early 1990. It was also the first house track to ever reach the top 10 of US charts.
